Well I am gearing up to submit my first app to the app store. Its a free app and not too sure on the name but might call it MyTeaTimer. Its just a simple steep timer for all those tea lovers out there like myself. It has simple animation to simulate a tea bag changing the water color as it steeps. Another cool feature is the Tea Knowledge tab, it just displays random tea facts and info about teas and tea related material. It pulls this from a webservice here. I am hoping to have users submit more tea knowledge and add it to the DB along with their name if they want so everyone can see. I also plan to add different tea liquid colors and a setting possibly to adjust the tea strength (stronger=darker tea).
So far it has been fun learning Objective-C and developing on the iPhone, I have a some more app ideas and will be working on them soon. I hope to post about my experience submitting this first app to Apple so that others may learn as I have. I have read many forum posts about the process and I think I have everything there, even the [tableView deselectRowAtIndexPath:indexPath animated:NO] rejection. So I just have to button up one more thing with the app and then I will send it along and post about the results.
